#3 Chuseok



 This year we had vey long periods of Chuseok holiday. It is because Chuseok was on wednesday and we generally were given a bonus holiday on monday or friday. I had 7 days of recess time! I was very happy! I used to go my grandmother's house in In-Cheon on holidays. Our relatives are gathering together on holidays. As usual, we gathered this Chuseok and visited our family graves. Actually, the most I want for Chuseok is foods. I think the foods for ancestral rites table are so delicious! My favorite is jeon! I ate lots of jeons. It was really tasty. However, making a few kinds of jeon isn't easy work. There are a lot to do. Fortunately we cook together both woman and man usually. So we could work more easier this Chuseok. My Chuseok holidays are finishing now. I am disappointed... I am already waiting for seol holidays!

Her passion is so infectious.

  Do you know Han Bi-Ya? I am going to talking about Han Bi-Ya. She wrote the best seller-"The daughter of the wind, Walk the earth three and a half". She is a well-known International aid worker. I first knew Bi-Ya through her books when I was in high school. I began to love Bi-Ya's passion after reading her books. she was a normal company staff. However,one day, she decided to quit the company to achieve her childhood dream traveling around the world. When she was young, she wished to travel all around world by her own foots.

 Quitting the company, She treveled around the world for six years. She was able to feel How wide world is. When she journeyed to the interior of Africa, many Africa's poor people came into her eyes. She started to help people before her knows. 

 Now, She works as an emergency relief team leader in the International organization called World Vision. She goes around all over the world working for peole who are in need for foods. She is living in the world that I couldn't see.  

  Sometimes, we forgot what we had said to ourselves when we was young. However, She says that It's never too late to start something new. I want to recommend her books to some people who feel boredom or slump. Because Her passion is so infectious.

HELLO ^^


 My name is Jae Eun Lee, but you can say me just "jane".

  I come from In-Cheon. Do you know Incheon? There is national arirport. Also, There is West Sea that has smooth mud flats. You can see wonderful sunset there. However, I live in SeoulTech's dormitory with my roommate now, because SeoulTech is far away from In-Cheon. Living in dormitory is also nice to me, because I can meet friends more often here.

 I dream of being a public service personnel, so I applied to a Public administration department. I am enjoying my major generally. I would be happy if I can have a job not only for money but also for all of us.
 
 I hope that I become capable of donation. It's my another dream. Actually, I was not interested in helping poor people. However, I realized that there are many people who can't overcome poverty regardless of their effort or will.

 In my spare time, I like to see movies or surfing through the net. In these days, I'm falling in Twighlight and Newmoon. ( It's movie.) I am going to see the third episode, Eclipse.

 Although I haven't experienced with studying abroad and my English ability is so poor, I will do my best for my blog^^.
